Kama Asa is a kitchenware shop in Tokyo’s Kappabashi district, known for supplying chefs with beautiful, high-quality tools. I visited their store when I was in Japan and became a huge fan. Their cutting boards have a bit of a cult following—they’re made from a soft, rubber-like material that’s gentler on knives than plastic but easier to maintain than wood. Super functional, long-lasting, and the sleek black design makes them feel elevated. Honestly, the best cutting board! They also have a store in Paris and Brooklyn.
